Texas Legion Auxiliary Past President's Parley Scholarships To provide financial assistance to the children of Texas veterans who wish to study a field related to medicine. Amount Awarded: $500Duration: 1 year.Deadline: March of each year.Eligibility: Eligible to apply for these scholarships are the children of veterans who served in World War I, World War II, Korea, Vietnam, Grenada/Lebanon, Panama, or the Persian Gulf. Applicants must be residents of Texas studying or planning to study nursing or another medical field at a postsecondary institution in the state.
